Position Description - Full-time Predoctoral Research Associate position for studies on TMEM184A, a heparin receptor in vascular cells. Work involves studies such as genotyping, PCR, protein analysis, gene knockdown and immunofluorescence in zebrafish. Maintaining mutant lines of zebrafish and cell culture work in the protein biochemistry laboratory will also be involved. Salary and benefits will be funded for one year. This is a soft-money position, and no severance pay is available. Continuation beyond one year is dependent on additional funding. Bachelors’ degree and molecular lab experience are required.
