Position Description - The Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering & Applied Science at Lehigh University invites qualified individuals to apply for a tenure-track position in the areas of design and manufacturing of robots. The successful candidate would have expertise build-ing robots with constraints to perform specified functions. For example, the development and use of underwater robots is a relatively new field that presents complex design challenges. Candidates would find the potential for interdisciplinary collaborations in marine-based robotics (BIOS), wearable and assistive robotics (CoH), and transportation (I-CPIE). Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related fields.
