Job Family - Marketing/Communication
Job Function - Direct and manage the development of strategic marketing initiatives and implement marketing plans and programs focused on achieving undergraduate recruitment results based on the university’s goals and objectives. This position works closely with the Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Design Services and in partnership with the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project management focused on proactively developing and managing the recruitment marketing program and projects across print, electronic, Web, audio, video, social media, etc. Manages initiatives and works in collaboration with creative services (internal and external) to complete projects on budget and on time. This role includes working on photo shoots (and schedules), being involved in campus visit strategy, recommending solutions for kiosks and the visitors lobby, and other important areas of undergraduate recruitment.

Manages, implements, and recommends market research activities and creative concept testing in an effort to analyze and evaluate performance of the undergraduate recruitment marketing program. Information is used for benchmarking, evaluating best practice, understanding changes in the marketplace, and making future marketing decisions.

Writes and develops copy/content (and suggests content ideas) for various marketing projects including print pieces, Web, electronic newsletters, news stories, announcements, invitations, letters, photo captioning, guidebooks, student profiles, etc. Responsible for updating facts and figures to accurately promote Lehigh’s information -- that is important and relevant to prospective undergraduate students and their families as they go through the college selection process.

Responsible for completing updates and submissions to college guidebooks – writes, updates, and submits copy that is accurate and supports Lehigh’s brand. Provides creative direction and selects appropriate photos for use. Receives, reviews, and approves proofs.

QUALIFICATIONS
1.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
2.
One to five years related work experience
3.
Excellent writing skills
4.
Solid word processing, basic spreadsheets, and presentation experience
5.
Ability to collect and research data
6.
Successful completion of standard background checks: social security verification, education verification, and national criminal background checks
