This Fall, LTS offered a number of learning/enrichment seminars to first year students through the Office of the First Year Experience 5x10 program series. Each fall, new students are asked to attend five campus events or sessions that are during the first ten weeks of the semester. Phishing for Phun -- winners announced

Over 250 faculty, staff, and students completed the Phishing for Phun phishing quiz and contest that was held in October in honor of National Security Awareness Month. Thanks to all who participated and took the quiz! Of the quiz-takers who finished the quiz, 69% achieved perfect scores. What do cake, books, and tic-tac-toe have in common? You can enjoy all three in Linderman Library! The Lehigh Libraries recently freshened up the leisure collection by adding many new books. Please join us in celebrating the "new" leisure collection by participating in a game of tic-tac-toe and attending a kickoff party. Lehigh Gmail: The security advantage

In October of 2006, Google released Apps for Education, which provides managed email (in addition to a suite of other applications such as Calendar and Drive) at no cost for educational and nonprofit institutions. Many universities have transitioned to Google's solution for mail and other cloud services. Seventy-four of the top 100 U.S. universities use Google Apps for Education, including Princeton, Brown, Northwestern, Georgetown and Vanderbilt. (1, 2).
